In collaboration with Bentleys at SalonQP, Mia Sabel from SABEL Saddlery will be demonstrating traditional English leatherwork skills, such as the hand-stitching used on our bespoke watch straps and on the restoration of Bentleys' collection of vintage luggage and luxury leather goods.
TIME FOR LEATHER
Mia Sabel will be holding masterclasses in hand-stitching and hand-finishing leather by traditional methods. Visitors will have the chance to experience traditional saddlery techniques used in making bespoke watchstraps, and try out some hand-stitching and edge finishing yourself. You will go away with a unique SalonQP key ring which you have hand-stitched, polished and personalised.
Sessions last one hour, and cost £20 per person. Places for each session will be extremely limited so don’t miss out! Please note that booking a ticket to the masterclasses does not include entry into the exhibition itself.
